They’re here! … but their days are numbered

If you live in my part of the country, you’ve probably noticed by now that Brood IV of the periodical cicadas are out in force. These dudes show up every 17 years, giving them celebrity status when they emerge and begin singing for their mates. Read all about them in the spring issue of Lawrence Magazine. And get out to see them soon. By mid-summer, they’ll be gone.
